Just awful.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nWell, I&#8217;m on the hunt for a new apartment.  Got a few places I&#8217;m looking at tomorrow.<br \/>\nI&#8217;m feeling pretty optimistic.  Besides, if I fail, I still have a place to live,<br \/>\ncourtesy of Fred Holy.  So not a lot of pressure.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nSpeaking of new places, Nancy and Mike invited everyone to a holiday party.  It<br \/>\nis officially the &#8220;Smith-Holy residence&#8221;, not the other way around as you might expect.<br \/>\nNancy rightly points out that she and Mike are <em>not<\/em> the Armorers of God.<br \/>\nAnd good thing, too.  They might have room for one anvil in there at best.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nI still am having trouble installing stable graphics drivers for my ATI card.<br \/>\nI keep trying to install the new drivers, but no matter what I do, the old drivers<br \/>\nkeep springing back from their coffin and leering at me.  Fortunately, I&#8217;ve finally<br \/>\nfound an FAQ site that explains how to expunge the old drivers once-and-for-all.<br \/>\nThis involves a little surgery on my Windows registry.  Fortunately my physics<br \/>\neducation instilled in me an unhealthy lack of fear of messing with technology<br \/>\nthat I don&#8217;t understand.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nI&#8217;ve been having awful trouble with my writing.  Trying a little semi-traditional<br \/>\nfantasy.  But it keeps coming out like, &#8220;Long-ago-in-the-days-of-high-adventure&#8230;&#8221;<br \/>\nUgh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is officially the &#8220;Smith-Holy residence&#8221;, not the other way around as you might expect.
