• Synthesized years of collective engineering experience into a uniform, centralized Yahoo! Developer Handbook. This provided hundreds of diverse engineering teams with common setup procedures, descriptions of best practices and standards, and a systematic overview of countless internal tools, libraries, and other technologies.
• Designed, developed, maintained, and evangelized a documentation publishing system based on industry-standard DocBook XML and internal Yahoo! packaging and build tools.
• Gathered documentation requirements and helped set priorities for other writers on the team. Mentored new-hire writers and junior writers.

Senior Technical Writer. Wrote and maintained performance guides, administration guides, API guides, and Javadoc for a suite of J2EE-based financial services software. Developed WebWorks scripts for converting FrameMaker documentation into cross-browser, standardized HTML.

• Wrote Chordiant's first performance guide, with techniques and tuning recommendations based on data collected from both field personnel and dedicated performance engineers.
• Overhauled and rebranded six manuals, four online help repositories, and nine release notes under a tight release schedule for a newly-acquired European division.

Technical Writer. Developed various technical manuals, including the integration guide for a large Java-based knowledge management system and an operator's manual for a radiation therapy system.
