Cast of Characters

When M'ris found out about this section, she told me that while she found these pages useful, she would never maintain a "Cast of Characters" section on her website. I hadn't even thought of this section as a convenience, really. I just wanted to take a few cheap shots at my friends, so that they would get off their butts and send me their own material. Until that happens, I have free reign. So there.

Mike Holy
Lawyer extraordinaire. Ask Mike a legal question, he'll answer right away!
Pat Becker
Former Roommate #1. Warning: do not hire this man. You think I'm kidding? I thought I was too, until I started keeping a record. This man's cratered more startups than David Wetherell. Go on, judge for yourself.
Sam Becker
Former Roommate #2, and identical twin to Roommate #1. Or so they say. The "twins" don't look all that alike to me, but what do I know?
Eric Stenberg
"The Clarence Darrow of the West". Currently living mere yards from the sand in Venice Beach. The man who managed to quash all interest I ever had in playing basketball.
Nancy Smith
The proud new owner of a Miata convertible... which Sam recently dinged. As she has taken me for a spin or two, she is currently in my good graces.
Mom
Mom has a website. She sells a book on her website. You should take a look at the book. Particularly if you're pregnant. In fact, if you're pregnant, you should take a look at this book right now. It could change your life. Yes, really.

Empty Sections

Most of my friends I've known for quite a long time. Nancy, 12 years. Mike, 14 years. Pat and Sam, 17 years. Eric, 20 years.

I don't make friends easily. But when I do, I tend to keep them. Oh, I suppose I lose some here and there. (Anyone know where Jason Payne disappeared to? Anyone?) But for the most part, once you're in, you're in.

Part of the reason I created this site was to give my friends their own corner on the web. Of course, right now their sections are sad and empty. So until they correct this, I'll probably be taking this opportunity to poke a little fun at them. I'm sure they'll understand.
